Job summary

NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking an entry-level to mid-level Building Enclosure Technician to join our Building Envelope Consulting team based in Kennesaw, GA. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional looking to expand their expertise in building envelope systems, forensic investigations, quality assurance inspections, and performance testing.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in building envelope related roles such as roofing, glazing, waterproofing, or façade construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Willingness to travel to projects across Georgia and surrounding states.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of roofing, waterproofing, window, curtain wall, storefront, facade, and other building enclosure systems.
• Conduct performance testing on new and existing building envelope systems in accordance with ASTM, AAMA, ANSI, TAS, and other industry standards.
• Assist with water infiltration testing, air leakage testing, and QA evaluations of exterior building components.
• Observe construction activities and verify compliance with project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and industry best practices.
• Evaluate workmanship and installation practices for roofing, waterproofing, glazing, facade, and exterior wall systems.
