Job summary

NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking an entry-level to mid-level Building Enclosure Technician to join our Building Envelope Consulting team, based in Kennesaw, GA. This role offers hands-on experience in testing, inspections, and performance evaluations of building envelope systems for diverse project types.

You will work with experienced consultants on field-based projects, gaining exposure to forensic investigations, QA inspections, infrared diagnostics, and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in roofing, glazing, curtain wall, waterproofing, exterior facade construction, or related fields.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of roofing, waterproofing, window, curtain wall, storefront, facade, and other building enclosure systems.
• Conduct performance testing on building envelope systems per industry standards.
• Assist with water infiltration and air leakage testing and QA evaluations.
• Observe construction activities and verify compliance with project specs.
