Job summary

HDR is seeking a Building Engineering Services Project Delivery Lead for the Nebraska/Iowa region. You will lead multi-discipline delivery teams, promote best practices, and coordinate with leadership to ensure quality, on-time project outcomes across multiple market sectors.

This role emphasizes mentorship, staff development, and implementation of HDR’s project management standards while supporting growth and profitability of the BES group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; PE license required.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• 10+ years leading multi-discipline delivery teams.
• MS Office and MS Project experience; Access a plus.
• Strong leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.
• Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Promote, monitor, and develop project management skills and quality practices for BES staff across the Area.
• Provide project management leadership for projects across the BG and ensure delivery excellence.
• Monitor QC Review activities and support QA/QC programs.
• Collaborate with leadership to staff projects and mentor staff.
• Track financials and ensure projects stay within budget and schedule.
• Develop and implement standard project delivery practices and procedures.
• Support recruitment and retention efforts for the program.
