Job summary

CBRE Building Engineer in Charlotte, NC will monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling to ensure optimal performance. You'll perform preventive maintenance, support energy management, and comply with codes and safety standards while providing reliable, safe facility services to clients.

Qualifications

4–5 years of job-related experience in building operations or maintenance.
Universal CFC certification preferred.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems to meet standards.
Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives related to building operations.
Maintain energy management programs to optimize system efficiency.
Assist with preventive maintenance programs and perform emergency repairs as needed.
Follow policies for hazardous materials handling and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
Review building systems inspections (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for design compliance.
