Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling. The role covers preventive maintenance and adherence to safety standards, codes, and client requirements.

You will support energy management programs and assist with scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections. The position requires strong organizational skills and familiarity with MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
• Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and safety.
• Maintain an energy management program to optimize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
