Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years’ experience in commercial or industrial environment with increasing responsibility for managing daily building operations.
• General mechanical and carpentry skills.
• Experience with HVAC system maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (internet, email, manuals).
• Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance on facility equipment and building systems (electrical, HVAC, boilers, pumps, motors, valves, chillers, cooling towers).
• Assist with ancillary building systems to keep operations at peak performance with minimal downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for hazards.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and propose upgrades to ensure code compliance.
• Order parts and supplies for repairs.
• Monitor and respond to service requests in the work order system.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients.
