Job summary

Stream Realty Partners is seeking a Building Engineer to provide concierge-style service while maintaining all building systems and equipment. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and proactive improvements to tenant experiences.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial building operations, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing knowledge, plus EPA Universal Certification. This is an onsite position requiring reliable transportation and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma.
• EPA Universal Certification within 90 days of employment.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
• 3 years of experience in commercial building operations or property management.
• Ability to read and understand plans and prints.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend and interpret instructions and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
• Operate and use necessary manual and power-driven tools.
• Provide concierge-style customer service to internal and external partners.
• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.
• Align and ensure all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety are adhered to.
• Inspect building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure operation within design parameters.
• Perform contract work, such as landscaping, snow removal, HVAC, plumbing, and cleaning.
