Job summary

ISS Facility Services in Tampa, FL is seeking a Building Engineer to maintain facilities, perform preventive maintenance, and support operations across hard, soft, and safety systems. A strong electrical background and certification are required.

You will collaborate with Site Operations management, perform electrical/mechanical tasks, manage CMMS data, and coordinate with contractors while ensuring safety and reliability of client facilities.

Qualifications

• Journeyman credentials required.
• EAP 608 Universal Certification or Electrical Certification is required.
• 5-7 years of experience in Operations & Maintenance, Construction, Facilities Maintenance and/or Building Engineering roles.
• High school diploma or vocational or trade school/college required.
• Strong knowledge of Work Order Control procedures and CMMS usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance and repair of the building’s mechanical systems.
• HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Electrical work including re-lamping, ballast replacement and breaker reset.
• Plumbing fixture repairs, drain maintenance, and restroom preventative maintenance.
• Manage and support maintenance of elevators, fire life safety devices, and UPSs.
• Access door and overhead door repair/adjustment as required.
