Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to operate, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across a commercial facility. You will perform preventative maintenance, record readings, and supervise outside contractor work.

The role requires 5+ years in building systems, proficiency with CMMS (Corrigo), BAS, and relevant EPA certifications; HS diploma or GED is required, with physical stamina for varied conditions.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
Ability to analyze the operation of various industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Working knowledge of CMMS Corrigo.
High school diploma or GED.
Physical ability to bend, sit, kneel, squat, stand, reach, and access equipment components.
Ability to work exposed to varying environmental conditions including heat, sun, rain, cold, and both daylight and nighttime hours.
EPA 608 Type II Certification or higher for refrigerant handling (preferred).
Additional EPA certifications (Universal certification preferred) (preferred).
Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) (preferred).
Trade certifications or technical school training in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing disciplines (preferred).
