Group14 Engineering, PBC seeks a Building Enclosure Project Manager to lead enclosure projects across Colorado and neighboring states, focusing on energy efficiency and sustainable performance. This role requires a strong technical foundation, collaboration, and travel to sites.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and client expectations while performing field observations and commissioning tasks, driving practical enclosure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field; equivalent AEC industry experience will be considered.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in building enclosure design, construction, commissioning, consulting, or testing.
• Strong knowledge of building science principles, enclosure systems, construction practices, and failure mechanisms.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs, submittals, and enclosure details; field observations and testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage enclosure consulting, commissioning, and testing projects from planning through completion, including scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Plan, coordinate, perform, and oversee technical components of enclosure projects with minimal oversight.
• Perform hands-on field work: inspections, air/water testing, infrared thermography, and performance verification.
• Review drawings, specs, RFIs, and enclosure details; provide recommendations based on building science.
• Lead meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors to coordinate work.
• Develop technical deliverables like BECx plans, testing specs, and commissioning documentation.
