BPL Enclosure Engineering is seeking a Senior Enclosure Consultant to lead advanced building enclosure projects in Denver, CO. You will manage challenging client engagements, mentor staff, and drive business development, leveraging over a decade of enclosure design expertise to deliver reliable, durable building envelopes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or technical diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline, or equivalent of industry experience.
• 10+ years of experience in building enclosure design and/or construction related work.

Responsibilities

• Manage challenging building enclosure consulting projects.
• Act as a senior client manager for key clients.
• Grow the business through business development activities.
• Review the work of other BPL staff for technical accuracy and business suitability.
• Mentor and train BPL staff on technical and business issues.
• Prepare budgets and proposals for building enclosure services on a wide range of building and client types.
• Review project construction documents for technical accuracy and suitability.
• Evaluate existing buildings to identify enclosure problems and develop proper repair designs.
• Prepare reports to summarize methodologies, observations, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Attend design phase, pre-construction, pre-installation, and construction progress meetings and provide technical expertise.
• Conduct regular walk-through observations of building enclosure construction for compliance with contract documents, manufacturers’ instructions, and industry standards.
• Periodically travel outside of the Denver metro area for project assignments.
