Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Manager in Fairfax, VA to lead enclosure projects, perform design reviews, and coordinate field testing. The role requires managing multiple projects, building client relationships, and contributing technically to the Building Science Solutions team.

The position includes travel up to 25%, Monday–Friday schedule, and collaboration with senior staff. A relevant degree and 5+ years in enclosure consulting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 5+ years' experience in Building Enclosure consulting or leadership in Building Air Tightness Testing.
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead WBAT projects on medium to large projects.
• Lead design consulting and peer reviews of plans and specs for building enclosures.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings and submittals.
• Assist with field performance testing and water leakage testing.
• Manage construction administration services including shop drawing reviews and site visits.
• Assist with forensic investigations and documentation of existing conditions.
• Lead remediation design of building enclosures.
• Prepare technical reports and sketches/mark-ups using Bluebeam.
