Job summary

ECS Southeast, LLP is seeking a senior Building Envelope specialist to provide technical expertise and support building enclosure staff across the Southeast region. The candidate can be located in any ECS established location within the Southeast Subsidiary.

Responsibilities include overseeing projects, performing technical report reviews, preparing and reviewing proposals, driving business development and client interactions, and mentoring junior staff at a regional level.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering preferred
• Licensed or certified as at least one of the following: PE, RA, IIBEC RRC/RWC/REWC/RBEC/CBECxP, UW–Madison BECxP/CxA+BE
• 12+ years of relevant professional experience
• Senior reviewer or similar designation from a competitor firm

• Primary responsibilities include providing technical expertise and supporting building enclosure staff within the region.
• Building Envelope Commissioning experience highly preferred.
• Responsibilities also include performing the following:
  • Overseeing projects
  • Performing technical report reviews
  • Preparing and reviewing proposals
  • Business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
  • Leading and coaching junior staff members
  • Performing responsibilities at the regional level

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering preferred
• Licensed or certified as at least one of the following:
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.)
  • Registered Architect (R.A.)
  • International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) offered RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP
  • University of Wisconsin-Madison offered BECxP and CxA+BE
• 12+ years of relevant professional related experience
• Candidates must hold senior reviewer or similar designation from a competitor firm
