Job summary

ECS Southeast, LLP is seeking a senior building enclosure professional to provide technical leadership across the Southeast region. The candidate will oversee projects, review technical reports, and help win new business while mentoring junior staff.

Ideal candidates hold PE or RA licensure with 12+ years of experience, and have a proven track record in building enclosure consulting. This is a regional role located within ECS’s Southeast footprint.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering, Architecture (NCARB), Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering preferred.
• Licensed or certified as at least one of the following: Professional Engineer (P.E.), Registered Architect (R.A.), IIBEC certifications (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP), UW–Madison BECxP/CxA+BE.
• 12+ years of relevant professional related experience.
• Candidates must hold senior reviewer or similar designation from a competitor firm.

• Leading and coaching junior staff members

Responsibilities

The candidate can be located in any ECS established location within the Southeast Subsidiary.

• Primary responsibilities include providing technical expertise and supporting building enclosure staff within the region.
• Building Envelope Commissioning experience highly preferred.
• Responsibilities also include performing the following:
  • Overseeing projects
  • Performing technical report reviews
  • Preparing and reviewing proposals
  • Business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
  • Leading and coaching junior staff members
  • Performing responsibilities at the regional level

Qualifications
