Job summary

Snowshoe is seeking a Building Custodian for the winter season. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize restrooms, and help maintain pristine public spaces across the resort.

This on-site role requires early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training will cover safety, proper chemical use, and checklists; housing is available, and benefits include medical coverage, on-mountain perks, 401(k), and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas: sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wash windows, and maintain restrooms.

• Safety and maintenance: store chemicals properly and report hazards.

Remove trash, sanitize surfaces, and clean walls. Ensure furniture is in place and luggage carts are sanitized.* **Complete Checklists:** Follow and update the custodial measures checklist daily.* **Safety and Maintenance:** Report safety issues, use and store chemicals properly, and secure storage closets. Inspect and report maintenance issues to prevent facility closures.* **Shift Flexibility:** Rotate between day and evening shifts as needed, and work across different resort areas.* **Equipment and Supplies:** Maintain and inspect cleaning equipment, monitor supply levels in storage closets, and report equipment issues.* **Workplace Maintenance:** Clean employee areas, storage spaces, and company vehicles.
