Job summary

Snowshoe is seeking a highly organized Employee Housing Custodian for the winter season. The role supports housing operations with administrative and cleaning duties at Snowshoe, WV. Seasonal positions start end of November/beginning of December with on-mountain housing available.

Responsibilities include cleaning units, laundering linens, and assisting housing staff. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and preferred housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass Snowshoe Driving Program.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans employee-tenant units (trash removal, dirty linen, vacuuming, dusting, bathroom/kitchen cleaning, bed making, window washing, and wiping cabinets/walls) as per schedule or need.
• Launders and returns linens following department procedures; keeps linen storage clean and stocked.
• Provides excellent customer service to employee-tenants as directed by supervisor or Housing Manager.
• Cleans common area laundry rooms weekly (trash removal, machine wipe-down, floor sweeping and washing).
• Maintains orderly storage areas, including inventorying and restocking supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues or damage on the Housing Daily Activity Report.
• Turns in Lost and Found items to the Housing Office.
• Participates in monthly room inspections as directed by Housing Manager.
• Collaborates with team members to support housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
