The League of Minnesota Cities is seeking a Building Code Compliance Coordinator to enforce property maintenance codes effectively. This role involves ensuring compliance for both residential and commercial properties while working collaboratively within a dedicated team. Successful candidates must possess or be able to obtain a Certified MN Building Official License within the first year of employment.

The successful candidate will enforce provisions of the International Property Maintenance Code and related codes and ordinances for all residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities include matters related to rental housing, illegal signage, foreclosed properties, and vacant structures. The candidate must have the ability to use tact and knowledge of the code to ensure safe building standards are met, ensure code compliance, and possess a Certified MN Building Official License or obtain it within 12 months of employment.
