Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher and minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in an urban setting.

Responsibilities

• Our building-based substitute teachers report as needed and are not full-time employees and follow the teacher’s plans.
• Implement school-wide systems, such as routines and point system, and other academic initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of student work for the classroom teacher.
• Communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues.
• Attend field trips as appropriate and participate in grade-level activities and meetings.
• Meet school expectations for professionalism and fulfill duties in a timely manner.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned; reports to the Principal.
