Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems Technician to support commercial and industrial controls projects in the Denver market. This hands-on role covers BAS programming, system integration, graphics, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and turnover with collaboration across project teams.

You will travel to local sites, work on active construction environments, and ensure BAS installations meet design and performance expectations while delivering on schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial BAS, DDC, or HVAC controls experience.
• Hands-on programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of BAS/DDC systems.
• Experience with major BAS platforms (Niagara, EcoStruxure, Metasys, WEBs, Desigo, WebCTRL, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus, LON, and BAS networking.
• Ability to read drawings, sequences of operation, and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Program and commission DDC and network controllers per project specs.
• Develop and modify BAS graphics and front-end interfaces.
• Integrate third-party equipment using BACnet, Modbus, LON, and other protocols.
• Work with HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, VFDs, RTUs, VRF, pumps.
• Perform startup, checkout, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot controls, electrical, networking, and HVAC issues.
