Transform the everyday with us

As a Systems Specialist, you will participate in the installation, startup, and commissioning of building automation systems. Your role involves verifying system databases and programming to ensure they align with project scope and operational sequences. You will be the face of Siemens, and your expertise and customer interactions will help save energy, reduce costs, and promote sustainability.

As a Systems Specialist, you will:
  • Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites, documenting details, and communicating progress and deficiencies.
  • Plan work collaboratively with the Lead Technician and Team Leader.
  • Assist with network setup, data backup, troubleshooting, and configuration of PC workstations and interfaces.
  • Support network performance verification.
  • Conduct operational testing, participate in final inspections, and support customer training.
  • Prepare and submit reports, and provide documentation for as-built drawings.
  • Coordinate with project teams and support scheduling and reporting tasks.
  • Work overtime and on a rotational on-call basis as needed, including minimal overnight travel.
  • Adhere to safety policies and work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications:

Basic:

  • 1+ years’ experience with electronic control or HVAC equipment installation and servicing.
  • Electromechanical experience and PC/software skills.
  • Ability to interpret design and construction documents.
  • Willingness to work in various physical conditions and environments, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use hand tools, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
