Vertiv is seeking a BMS Engineer to design and execute temperature control and automation systems for HVAC, access control, lighting, CCTV, and industrial automation. You will lead PLC and SCADA/HMI development, coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams, and own project modules from design through commissioning.

The role requires two- or four-year engineering training, hands-on PLC programming, SCADA experience, and strong collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Experience designing control systems for HVAC or industrial automation.
• Hands-on PLC hardware selection, configuration, and ladder logic programming.
• Experience configuring SCADA/HMI systems with alarms and trends.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP or similar.

Responsabilités

• Develop system layouts and control designs from specs.
• Design PLC architectures, control panels, power distribution, and I/O.
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs and SCADA/HMI apps.
• Prepare design submittals, as-built drawings, and O&M docs.
• Coordinate equipment cut sheets and submittals.
• Ensure designs meet contract drawings and specifications.
• Select control devices per requirements.
• Create HMI graphics for building automation and SCADA.
• Support commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
