The selected candidate will lead daily field activities while providing hands-on support for the installation, troubleshooting, testing, and startup of building automation and HVAC control systems.Come work for an industry leader that has been recognized both locally and nationally as one of the Top Places to Work !ResponsibilitiesLeads daily BAS installation activities and provides hands-on field support.Uses blueprints, control drawings, and specifications to install, troubleshoot, test, and support startup of HVAC control systems.Examines layouts, anticipates field challenges, and coordinates labor and materials.Prioritizes work, monitors progress, and communicates field status.Verifies device placement, wiring, labeling, addressing, and workmanship.Promotes job-site safety and proper use of tools and personal protective equipment.Completes daily reports, redlines, material records, and project documentation.Serves as the primary field contact and communicates schedule, scope, material, and site concerns to the Project Manager.Supports point-to-point checkout, startup, and commissioning; mentors installers; and identifies required materials and equipment.QualificationsQualificationsExcellent written and oral communication skills.Working knowledge of BAS controls, low-voltage wiring, electrical fundamentals, and control devices.Customer service, organization, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret blueprints, control drawings, specifications, and submittals.Basic computer and electronic field documentation skills.Ability to safely navigate construction job sites and perform position requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to travel locally as required.Education and/or Experience RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent; trade school education or industry certifications preferred.Four or more years of BAS installation, HVAC controls, or related low-voltage controls experience, including field leadership or coordination experience.
