Job summary

Convergentz, a division of Hunton Group, seeks a Building Automation Systems Installation Team Leader to head daily field activities and provide hands-on support for installing, troubleshooting, testing, and starting up BAS and HVAC control systems.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and BAS knowledge, with experience interpreting blueprints and coordinating field operations. Local travel and safe work practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience leading BAS installation and field coordination.
• Knowledge of BAS, HVAC controls, and low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily BAS installation activities and provides hands-on field support.
• Interprets blueprints, control drawings, and specifications to install and test HVAC control systems.
• Prioritizes work, monitors progress, and communicates field status to the Project Manager.
• Mentors installers and ensures safety on the job site.
