Job summary

Trane Technologies is a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable, and efficient climate solutions for buildings, homes and transportation. This field-based role installs building automation systems on-site at customer locations, using low voltage electrical knowledge, electronics, direct digital controls, and building control techniques. You will follow drawings and plans, coordinate with trades, and document progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years experience pulling wire and running conduit.
• Experience installing HVAC controls or electrical work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install temperature control systems using hand tools, interpreting drawings, plans, and specs.
• Prepare for on-site installation by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating with other trades.
• Maintain assigned stock of inventory and document related activities.
• Document work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, progress, and duration; and maintaining files.
• Keep current on Trane products concerning installation of direct digital control systems.
• Display team effort and dedication by working overtime and occasional overnight stays.
