Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Four years of professional experience directly related to the area of employment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance programs, personnel, contractors, and resources for building automation and control systems.
• Lead preventive maintenance and energy management, including installation and replacement of systems and components.
• Manage outsourced contracts and contractors supporting control system operations and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission and AAALAC standards for air changes, temperature and humidity.
• Plan and schedule projects for timely, coordinated completion and review construction/renovation projects.
• Implement and monitor departmental policies, employee performance, goals, and resources.
• Manage the shop budget to ensure funding is adhered to.
• Ensure regulatory training is completed and documented; manage upgrades and preventive maintenance.
• Handle hiring and termination authority; interview and select candidates for promotion.
• Maintain professional development through seminars and industry affiliations.
