Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the delivery of building automation system integration projects. This entry‑level role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with 1–3 years of related experience.

You will assist with planning, scheduling, procurement, documentation, site meetings, and coordination of subcontractors, helping keep projects on track and within budget while growing your technical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction or building automation preferred.
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Basic understanding of project management principles (scheduling, budgeting, procurement).
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of building automation projects under a PM.
• Support procurement activities, tracking orders and coordinating deliveries.
• Organize and maintain project documentation including drawings and RFIs.
• Attend site meetings, document field observations, follow up on actions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor progress and provide schedule updates from subcontractors.
• Assist with system checkouts and commissioning support.
• Track project costs and change orders to align with budgets.
• Participate in project closeout activities including punch lists and O&M manuals.
