Job summary

The City of Farmington Hills is seeking a part-time facilities aide to support event setup, cleaning, and general maintenance. You will assist with setup/tear-down, direct patrons, and ensure the facility runs smoothly.

Responsibilities include enforcing rules, submitting work orders, attending trainings, and helping custodial staff. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and availability for weekend nights and a 10–30 hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Experience with custodial or facilities tasks preferred.
• CPR/First Aid/AED training available on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and tear-down.
• Direct and assist patrons and provide excellent customer service.
• Enforce facility rules and maintain accurate reports.
• Submit work orders to maintenance staff.
• Attend mandatory staff trainings.
• Assist custodial and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
