Job Summary

IMI is seeking a full-time Building and Grounds Maintenance worker for our Watkinsville, GA office.

Essential Functions

• Perform groundskeeping and building maintenance duties
• Mow lawns by hand or using a riding lawnmower
• Trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls; sweep walkways
• Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes; trim shrubs and weed
• Cut down tree limbs that pose a danger
• Rake, mulch, and prune grounds as needed
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on groundskeeping equipment
• Perform minor building repairs on campus as needed
• Other routine maintenance duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Stand or walk for extended periods
• Use arms and hands to reach, handle, or manipulate objects
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds; may require assistance for heavier items
• Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, grasping, feeling, twisting, bending, talking, and hearing
• Operate standard lawn equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, and trimmers
