Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a Building and Grounds Associate to maintain high service levels, manage cleaning tasks, and support a safe, well-kept facility in Peoria. The role requires physical stamina, reliable transportation, and a customer-oriented approach to support a diverse team.

Three positions are available with all shifts, including Sunday through Saturday, 7:00a-10:00p. The compensation starts at $18/hr and includes full benefits; weekend availability and valid driver's license are

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial lawn care equipment.
• Maintain grounds around facilities.
• Clean facilities: dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, and restroom cleaning; collect and empty trash per health and safety rules.
• Stock and organize janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management of safety risks or repairs.
• Monitor building security and safety, e.g., lock doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and trainings as assigned by supervisor.

TheBuilding and Grounds Associateis responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies,and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• Knowledge and experience operating commerical lawn care equipment
• Maintaining the grounds around the facilities
• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
