Job summary

HomeTeam Pest Defense is seeking a dedicated Installer to service homes along an assigned route in the Austin area. You will install the Taexx built-in pest control system during new-home construction and perform termite treatment tasks.

You will interact with homebuilders and field managers, maintain accurate tickets, and uphold a professional appearance and outstanding customer service every day.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to obtain termite licensing.

Responsibilities

• Follow a daily schedule and arrive on time at each job site.
• Install the Taexx System in new homes and buildings along the scheduled route.
• Perform termite treatment services and interact with builders, sub-contractors and field managers to meet deadlines.
• Submit legible, clear service tickets to office personnel.
• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners on your route.
• Present a professional appearance including company truck, equipment and uniform.
• Stay licensed and continue pest control education through seminars.

As a HomeTeam Installer, you can expect to:

• Follow a daily schedule, ensuring timely arrival at each job site
• Install the Taexx System in new homes and buildings within scheduled route
• Perform termite treatment services and interact with homebuilders, sub-contractors and field managers to meet deadlines
• Responsible for submitting legible, clear and accurate service tickets to office personnel
• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners every day as you work your route
• Present a professional, tidy appearance, including your company truck, equipment, and uniform
• Maintain your pest control license and keep your knowledge sharp by attending pest control seminars regularly
• Stay motivated and focused while you work independently
• Must be able to work Saturdays to complete installs according to builder home completion timelines as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• No experience required – training will be provided!
• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain termite technician or pest control licensing (company paid)

• Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
