Global Power Components is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join the onsite Milwaukee team. You will pre-assemble electrical kits from stocked and fabricated parts, perform light fabrication, and assist with material handling in a collaborative environment.

The role requires reading blueprints/BOMs, learning manufacturing processes, and the ability to read measuring devices. You must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and pass a pre-employment exam including a drug screen.

Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. Global Power Components is a privately held, financially sound, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures, and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. As a result of continued growth, we are seeking Electrical Assemblers to work in our Electrical Assembly department to assist in the building of enclosures.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-assemble electrical kits from inventoried components & GPC fabricated components
• Light fabrication work - drilling, forming, wire striping and crimping
• Working with Electrical Engineering, Production Supervisors, & Team Leads
• Support the installation needs for various electrical equipment
