Job summary

nVent is seeking skilled assemblers to join our team in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You will read blueprints, assemble metal building components, and ensure quality and safety standards are met through precise workmanship.

Responsibilities include installing doors, windows, HVAC units, and related parts, while maintaining documentation and coordinating with teammates to meet tight schedules. Physical stamina and adaptability are essential for success on this site.

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, assembly, or related hands‑on trade.
  • Familiarity with mechanical assembly and use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Physical ability to lift/move heavy materials.
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in varying environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install metal building structures and components used in industrial and commercial applications.
  • Install doors, windows, HVAC units, panels, framing, and other structural or mechanical components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials to determine build requirements.
  • Perform detailed assembly work to ensure products meet quality, safety, and customer standards.
  • Verify materials and hardware to confirm completeness prior to shipment.
  • Complete required production documentation, quality checks, and shipping paperwork accurately.
  • Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, man lifts, and other material handling equipment.
  • Load, unload, position, and secure building materials and finished assemblies for transport.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through regular housekeeping.
  • Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to meet production schedules and delivery timelines.
  • Work independently when required while remaining aligned with team goals.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, production schedules, design changes, and unexpected challenges.

Shift Times
  • Day: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Night: 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM
  • Weekend: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
