Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is hiring for an electrical/plumbing and general maintenance technician. The role focuses on repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery throughout the facility, including fabrication and welding tasks.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and 3–5 years of related experience, with ability to read drawings and operate a forklift. Normal shift is Sunday–Friday nights with overtime as needed.

Sunday - Friday, 10PM - 6:30AM + Overtime and rotating weekends, as needed.
Responsible for making electrical, plumbing, and general repairs to buildings, as well as troubleshooting and repairing, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical machinery, and equipment throughout the facility. This position will work on Shift 3. Standard hours for this shift are Sunday - Friday, 10PM - 6:30AM, with overtime as needed.
Makes electrical, plumbing, and general repairs to buildings as well as troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery and equipment throughout the facility.
Ability to read a tape measure, do basic mathematical calculations, and use a calculator.
The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and in a non-temperature-controlled environment and exposure to outside weather conditions. While performing the core function of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, walk, hear, stand for long periods of time, and required to lift to 55 lbs. This position is primarily working around machinery with moving parts, working around moving objects or vehicles. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach/pull/push/grab with hands and arms, kneel, and crouch, twist, and bend. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or crawl. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform core functions.
Ability to work at other facilities, weekends, other shifts and to be on call.
