SpaceX is hiring a Build Engineer for Starlink Transit. You will own the design and execution of technically challenging customer solutions in remote locations, solving problems from first principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science discipline and 1+ years in an engineering role.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, or structural design and analysis.
• Experience with build, production, or integration of components into an assembly or site under tight timelines.
• Multidisciplinary project execution demonstrated.
• Bonus: construction drawings/plans, dashboards, or analytics (Tableau/PowerBI).
• Bonus: physical network infrastructure design or power systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with Starlink Transit hardware and customers to improve performance and resolve issues.
• Develop processes enabling rapid deployment of antennas.
• Provide pre-sales technical support and review customer proposals.
• Support activation from hardware delivery to connectivity.
• Travel to remote sites for installation, troubleshooting, and integration.
• Design hardware solutions to expand markets served by Starlink Transit.
