Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA seeks a Build Engineer for Enterprise Products to own the design and execution of technically challenging customer solutions. You will work with Starlink Transit hardware and customers to deliver reliable, high-performance deployments in remote locations, guided by first principles thinking.

The role involves travel, rapid antenna deployment, and collaboration with sales teams as the technical SME, with opportunities to contribute to new markets and innovative hardware

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering or science discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in an engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Starlink Transit hardware and customers to improve performance, reliability, and to resolve technical issues when they arise
• Develop new processes and methods that enable rapid deployment of antennas
• Provide sales teams with pre-sales support, acting as the technical subject matter expert and engineering representative for Starlink Transit in customer interactions and proposal review
• Directly support activation of new installations from hardware delivery through initial connectivity
• Travel to remote customer sites to drive rapid installation, troubleshooting, and integration of Starlink Transit solutions
• Design novel hardware solutions to expand how and what markets are served by Starlink Transit
