Job summary

Boom Technology in Centennial, Colorado, is looking for a Build Engineer to take ownership of modules in the Superpower engine project. You will be involved in all stages from design through to test, working closely with manufacturing and design teams. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree or hands-on experience with manufacturing processes. Competitive salary range is $133,875 - $170,100 per year, alongside a flexible PTO policy and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Real DFM/DFA intuition and hands-on experience in a high-consequence environment.
• A track record of making things simpler, cheaper, and faster to build.

Responsibilities

• Own a module of the Superpower engine from requirements through test.
• Drive design decisions that minimize part count and simplify assembly.
• Integrate hardware onto test stands, watch it run, and improve upon it.
