Boom Technology, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Early Career Exceptional Talent) to own a defined segment of engine assembly, machining, tooling, or process development at Boom Supersonic.

You will work directly with machinists, technicians, manufacturing engineers, and build engineers to solve manufacturing problems on the shop floor, not from behind a desk. We hire engineers who want ownership, tackle hard challenges, and deliver tangible impact from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least one internship or co-op where you built real hardware.
• Hands-on manufacturing experience in a shop, line, or assembly.
• Genuine curiosity about how things are made and how to design for manufacturability.
• Track record of finishing hard things, inside school or outside.

Responsibilities

• Own a defined piece of the manufacturing operation — engine assembly, machining, tooling, or process development — with real accountability for the outcome.
• Work directly with machinists, technicians, manufacturing engineers, and build engineers to solve problems on the floor, not from behind a desk.
• Build and improve the processes, work instructions, and tooling that allow complex hardware to come together reliably.
• Partner with design engineering to make parts easier to build.
• Iterate fast — identify issues, fix them, and move to the next problem.
