Job description

Remote: This position does not require the employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The role enables the employee to work off-site on a permanent basis. The position involves regular territory visits to dealerships in the assigned area.

The selected candidate will assume territorial responsibility for Wichita and Western Kansas.

Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation benefits.

The Buick GMC District Sales Manager is responsible for managing and engaging our Buick GMC dealers through regular visits and collaboration. This role involves being present at stores to connect with our products and services, and may include initiatives such as marketing development, customer retention, product displays, financial analysis, and training—all aimed at supporting our dealers in successfully selling our vehicles to customers. The day-to-day activities are fast-paced and varied. To excel, you should enjoy building relationships, influencing others, and managing your time effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between GM, its dealerships, and partners
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships
  • Provide mentorship and consulting to meet sales objectives
  • Monitor Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and other feedback to improve dealer performance
  • Support product launches with coordinated marketing and advertising efforts
  • Ensure dealership personnel training and compliance with GM standards
  • Assist with inventory management, including vehicle and parts ordering
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competition to identify opportunities
  • Drive increased sales of GM vehicles and accessories
  • Help resolve customer issues effectively
  • Travel regularly within your designated region to visit dealers
