Job summary

The Lodge Casino in Black Hawk, CO, is seeking a Seasons Buffet Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations in a high-volume buffet environment. You will ensure quality, supervise staff, and manage food preparation and line checks.

Qualifications

Experience in a high-volume food establishment.
Culinary degree or equivalent work experience.
Successful completion of ServSafe Class.
Working knowledge of the food service industry.

Responsibilities

Monitor the quality and presentation of all food items.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff.
Requisition food items from the warehouse, timely and accurately.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas.
Practice procedures to increase yields (minimizes waste).
Complete daily log and temperature logs. Complete 'line check' each meal period.
Uphold all health department policies and procedures.
Comply with relevant Colorado Gaming and IRS requirements.
