Resort Lifestyle Communities in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Utility Buffet Server to help create welcoming dining experiences for residents and guests. You will greet, take orders, and tailor portions while maintaining a clean, safe exhibition line during meal hours.

The role emphasizes teamwork, professional communication, responding to feedback, and safe operation of kitchen equipment including pizza ovens and knives. No prior experience required; evening Monday–Friday shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate ovens and knives.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 5:00pm-7:00pm.
• Must communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Must secure required food handler permits within two weeks of hire.
• No previous work experience required.
• State regulations may require a work permit depending on age/state.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming dining experience by greeting residents and guests, taking orders, and tailoring portions.
• Protect quality and safety by keeping the area clean and handling dishware carefully.
• Ensure seamless service by maintaining an attended, visually appealing exhibition line during meals.
• Engage with professionalism when addressing feedback and escalate issues when needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens and knives, following safety standards.
• Support the team with additional duties as directed by lead chefs.
• Maintain sanitation standards across all food prep and production areas.
