Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels seeks a Food and Beverage Attendant to deliver our guest‑focused service across breakfast and evening venues. You will set up and break down buffet areas, serve guests, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Ideal candidates have some F&B experience, English fluency, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds; ServSafe (and possibly TIPS) certifications may be required. Morning, evening, weekends, and holiday shifts offered.

Qualifications

• Some previous food and beverage experience preferred.
• Background in the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is required; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical abilities are preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays.
• ServSafe certification and possibly a TIPS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent Sonesta Service in all guest interactions.
• Prepare and transport food and beverage items to buffets as needed.
• Monitor buffet areas, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness.
• Follow taste, temperature, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Prepare salads, sandwiches, soups for sale in the shoppe.
• Welcome guests, respond to requests promptly, escalate when needed.
• Ensure safe storage of food/bev, inventory, and minimize waste.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized; report malfunctions.
• Assist in setting up/breaking down meeting rooms and events.
• Adhere to health, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
