You will prepare and grill buffet items, restock displays, assist guests with carved meat options when needed, and follow FIFO to maintain shelf life. This role offers a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products, including Carving and Display Cooking items, according to Golden Corral recipes.
• Grills all items according to Golden Corral standards to ensure quality.
• Ensures that every fried product is always fresh and hot.
• Restocks items at the Display Cooking Station when Buffet Attendant is unavailable.
• Assists guests with carved meat options when Carver is unavailable.
• Uses buffet production guides to maintain quality and shelf life.
• Maintains correct temperatures during cooking, holding and serving.
• Uses inventory guides to maintain hot cook products and conducts opening/closing procedures.
• Maintains equipment and rotates stock using FIFO; takes inventory with Manager.
• Keeps hot cook area and smallwares clean; performs duties to meet cleanliness and service standards.
• Keeps communication professional and ensures guest satisfaction with product quality.
• Follows local health department laws and ensures sanitation in the kitchen.
