Job summary

Delaware North Gaming in Wheeling, West Virginia, is hiring full-time Restaurant Cashiers to assist with transactions, guest service, and order tracking at Wheeling Island Casino. The role offers a $14.55 per hour wage with weekly pay.

You will work with dining, service, and kitchen teams to manage payments, balance cash drawers, and ensure accurate pricing and receipts. Flexible shifts include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling experience.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance bank.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dining room, service, and kitchen team members to keep track of all orders, monetary situations, and charges, validating methods of payment, completing transactions, and providing accurate change, documentation and receipts.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts.
• Scan items and ensure pricing is correct, resolving discrepancies and processing payments.
• Clean up checkout area and keep organized; keep receipt paper and other stationery stocked.
• Maintain accurate tabs on restaurant tables’ orders using the venue’s primary point of sale system.
