Island View Casino Resort is seeking a Buffet Cashier to be the first contact for guests, welcoming them with a cheerful and professional demeanor. You will handle transactions, verify guest counts, and manage payments at the buffet.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably two years of cashier experience in a high-volume environment. This is a full-time/part-time position, located at Island View Casino Resort.

Job description

TheCashierforTHE BUFFETis the first contact for guests entering the Buffet and is responsible for welcoming guests immediately upon their arrival, maintaining a cheerful, courteous disposition and a professional image to promote a truly unique environment and dining experience. He/She is required to answer telephones in the same manner, complete guest transactions in an accurate manner, verify number of guests dining, totals the bill, receives payment by cash, vouchers, comps, cash, credit cards and provides accurate change for cash payments.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of previous cashier experience in a high volume environment is highly preferred.
