Job summary

Island View Casino Resort is seeking a Buffet Busser to deliver fast, friendly service and maintain a spotless dining area. You will assist guests entering the buffet and promptly reset tables and chairs between seatings.

Responsibilities include clearing dirty dishes, removing trash from tables and service stations, and transporting used items to the designated washing area. A high school diploma or GED is required, and lifting up to 30 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Experience with bus carts and cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and reset tables and chairs between seatings.

Job description

BUSSER for THE BUFFET provides an exceptional dining experience by ensuring fast, friendly service of guests entering the restaurant, as well as, cleaning and resetting of tables and chairs in a timely manner. Maintains a clean environment by removing trash from tables, chairs, floor, service stations and restaurant. Removes used dishes, glassware, and flatware from tables and brings used items to the designated area for washing. Ability to clear tables of dirty dishes and sanitizetables in an efficient and timely manner to ensure guests are seated as soon as possible.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent and ability to use bus carts, ice carts, trash compactor and ice machines. Knowledge of ABC regulations and must be able to lift up to 30 lbs required.
