We are looking for a Buffet Attendant to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront/North 37th Street.

The Buffet Attendant is responsible for checking the levels of products in the buffet and reporting replacement needs to kitchen management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with proper storage of foods, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and ensuring equipment and supplies are properly maintained and arranged.
• Assemble the buffet before mealtime and disassemble it afterward.
• Ensure that the buffet remains well-stocked.
• Receive beverage orders and direct these to the kitchen, as needed.
• Provide customers with condiments upon request.
• Ensure customers vacate the restaurant by the close of meal service.
• Clean and sanitize tables and countertops after each meal service.
• Previous cooking experience and formal certification preferred.
• Possess basic culinary knowledge and ability to perform food service functions in a health care institution.
• Clear cutlery and crockery from customers' tables.
• Resolve customers' queries and complaints.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors after each meal service.
