What’s the job?
As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for providing breakfast service to our guests, ensuring a quality dining experience while maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment. This includes preparing well-cooked, quality food with pleasing presentation, and delivering memorable guest experiences. You will also ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.
Your day-to-day
Guest Experience
- Maintain a clean and inviting guest dining area.
- Engage with guests to enhance satisfaction and build rapport.
- Ensure all food and beverage facilities are clean, well-stocked, and ready for service.
- Ensure all equipment is operational and regularly cleaned.
- Achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals.
- Adhere to brand standards and promotions consistently.
- Collaborate with management to ensure high guest satisfaction.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Cost Control
- Manage food and beverage expenses effectively, including inventory management and procurement guidelines.
- Order supplies based on inventory standards.
- Implement cost-saving strategies and environmentally conscious practices.
- Ensure safe storage of food and drinks, minimizing waste.
- Operate within the breakfast budget.
Revenue Generation
- Promote dining experiences that offer value to guests.
- Suggest ideas to enhance revenue to management.
- Handle transactions securely.
Leadership
- Motivate and mentor team members.
- Demonstrate integrity, ownership, and effective communication.
- Foster a positive, professional work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher education.
- Fluent English; additional languages preferred.
- ServSafe, CPR, and First Aid certifications are preferred.
- Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform cleaning tasks involving chemicals and allergens.
Specific Responsibilities
- Proficient in property management and inventory systems.
- Complete required training within 30 days of hire.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain equipment and inventory standards.
- Understand and communicate menu offerings.
- Handle guest complaints professionally.
- Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain professional appearance and excellent customer service.
- Perform ad hoc duties as needed.
