Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. seeks a Finance professional in Bloomington to support Campus Leadership with financial information, reconciliation, and analysis. You will develop and present summaries that guide allocation of resources and ensure policy compliance across units.

You will monitor expenditures, assist with budget drafts, and provide timely insights from financial data to help leadership make informed decisions in a complex university environment.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's in accounting/finance or related field.
• Preferred: 2+ years in finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial information, transactional support and account reconciliation.
• Develops financial summaries for unit leadership and presents data for decision making.
• Reviews financial statements and makes adjusting entries in KFSto actual and budget data.
• Reconciles financial statements on a timely basis.
• Prepares ad-hoc and scheduled analyses of IU financial activity vs. prior years and budget.
