Job summary

Lone Star College-CyFair seeks an Analyst I, Budget and Finance to support campus budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The role collaborates with managers and executives to analyze financial data, develop dashboards, and improve reporting processes across campus.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of experience, with strong Excel and Power BI skills. Travel to other campuses may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 1+ year of experience
• Prefer degrees in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
• Experience with budgets and dashboards is a plus
• Comfort with data analysis and reporting tools

Responsibilities

• Monitors and analyzes campus budgetary and financial performance regularly.
• Evaluates and forecasts campus spending and trends.
• Provides financial analysis and support for campus initiatives.
• Assists with annual budget development.
• Examines budgets for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures.
• Designs and develops reports and dashboards; uses Lone Star systems for data.
