Job summary

Naval Sea Systems Command seeks a Budget Officer in Newport, RI, to lead the Division Newport Budget Division (011) within the Comptroller, directing budget planning and financial management with Division leadership and Navy partners.

The role reports to NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV Newport and is aligned with the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project; a Secret clearance is required and telework is eligible where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal architect of the Division budget, working independently with Division Newport leadership, legal counsel, sponsors, and Navy financial management through Warfare Center Headquarters and NAVSEA Comptroller.
• Supervise and head the Budget Division (011) within Comptroller of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI.
